Liralite Professional

Luralite Professional

The Luralite Professional is a very discreet insect control unit, designed to look like an attractive wall light or uplight. However, it is twice the size and power with two 15 Watt bulbs that produces UV light which attracts mosquitoes, flies, and other flying insects to the unit, and the pre-formed pheremone impregnated glue pad simply fits inside the unit and captures these insects leaving them helpless, in a "sticky" situation.

The unit is installed to a wall via the supplied mounting hardware, ideally in the darkest place free from windows and skylights and approx. 6 feet from the ground. Once mounted, the special back plate ensures that the UV light is not directed to the wall to damage any color or pattern. The Luralite is available in White only, but still provides 24 hour insect control.

The unit covers 540 sq. ft. and is ideal for public and commercial areas such as hospitals, restaurants, and other indoor uses.

FlyWeb Fly Light

Insect Light Trap

The FlyWeb Fly light is designed for indoor use wherever there are flying pests. The FlyWeb attracts flying insects by using an energy-efficient 9-watt U.V. light. Flying insects are drawn to the U.V. light and trapped on the web-like adhesive glue card. Its compact size makes it perfect to hide while is still does the job of ridding your space of flying pests. Remove the protective coating on the adhesive board, insert it into the unit and the trap is set. All you need is an electrical outlet - plug it in.

FlyWeb Fly Light features:

  • 24 hour, non chemical silent trapping
  • Light Grey Finish
  • Easy to replace, disposable 3" x 5" adhesive panel
  • Covers 600 sq. ft. (20 lineal ft.)

Insect Light Traps (ILT’s) are an important non-insecticidal method to control flying insects. ILT’s attract flying insects by using Ultra-Violet light. Flying insects are drawn by the U.V. light and are either trapped on adhesive glue panels or electrocuted on an electrified grid. ILT’s work 24-hours a day, seven days a week. ILT’s catch a variety of flying insects including house flies, bottle flies, yellow jackets, moths and beetles that contaminate food, affect our health, and are irritating. Rodent Control

Don't Allow Rodents to spoil your business

  • Rodents contaminate food
  • Rodents can spread diseases
  • Rodents can damage property
  • Rodents breed quickly
  • Rodents WILL cost you money
Types of Rodents

What can Quality Commercial Pest Control do for you?

A rodent prevention program is essential to the success of your business. Rodents cause millions and millions of dollars of damage to businesses each and every year. Quality Commercial Pest Control will create a plan taylor made for your facility. We will use a combination of exclusion, good sanitation, and good prevention methods to ensure the safety of your facility.

What methods work the best?

Preventive Maintenance works the best! Knowing the environment your facility is placed in and what problems could occur will ultimately help you and your account manager develop a program to keep your facility rodent free. Don't wait until your facility has rodents to put a plan in place. It is easier to prevent it than to rid your facility of the problem when it comes and less costly as well. Below is several methods to keep your facility under control or rid your facility of any rodent problems you may be experiencing.

Bait Stations

Controlling the damage caused by Norway rats (Rattus norvegicus) and house mice (Mus musculus) often involves the use of poison baits. Using bait stations in a rodent control program may increase the effectiveness and safety of rodent baits (rodenticides). Bait stations offer a preventive approach allowing rodents to first find the rodenticides placed on the exterior of the building deterring them from entering the structure of your facility. Exterior rodent bait stations offer great control in almost any setting.

Rodent Bait Stations

Liquitox Watering Stations

Liquitox Watering Stations is a liquid bait that allows us to quickly get your facilities under control. Rodents need Food, Water, and Harborage to survive. Using the liquitox in conjunction with a rodenticide in a bait station, snap traps, or other baits gives rodents 2 of the three necessities they need and allows us to quickly rid your facility of rodents.

Liquitox

Rodent Exclusion/Proofing

Physical exclusion of rodents is the most important part of any rodent control program. Physical exclusion keeps rodents from entering your structure and damaging food, equipment, and goods to be sold. Our licensed inspectors and service specialists will properly inspect your facility and note all areas where rodents may be able to enter your structure and work closely with management to ensure that your facility is "rodent proof".

Quality Commercial Pest Control gives a full one year warranty on any exclusion work performed by our company.

Rodent Exclusion

Glueboards/Snap Traps/T-Rex's

Glueboards, Snap Traps, and T-Rex's offer good control of rodents that have already entered the structure of your facility. Our service specialists will do a full inspection of the interior and strategically place glue boards or traps in the interior of your facility and monitor them to ensure proper control and eradication of rodents.

Glue boards and traps act as a report card for us monthly. We check them and replace them as necessary to ensure your problem is under control.

Tin Cats are a more permanent solution to help monitor your facility on a monthly basis. Inside each tin cat is a glue monitor that has a peanut butter attractant to draw any rodents or insects to the glueboards first rather then to the food or goods stored inside your facility.

Bird Control

Don't Allow Rodents to spoil your business

  • Birds contaminate food
  • Birds can spread diseases (salmonella,meningitis, ecephalitis,etc.)
  • Birds can deface/damage property
  • Birds breed quickly
  • Birds create hazardous conditions
  • Rodents WILL cost you money
Types of Birds

What can Quality Commercial Pest Control do for you?

A bird control and prevention program is essential to the success of your business. Because each and every facility is different,Quality Commercial Pest Control will create a plan taylor made for your facility. We will use a combination of exclusion, good sanitation, and good prevention methods to ensure the safety of your facility.

What methods work the best?

There are many methods when it comes to a GOOD bird control program. Some of these methods include:

Bird Spikes

Spikes are a popular choice for most facilities trying to exclude pigeons and birds from sitting on signs, the edges of buildings, flat surfaces, and any place where they may be able to perch and defecate below. Bird spikes come in 3 different widths so any ledge can be protected.

Bird Spikes

Bird Netting

Bird Netting offers a physical exclusion from pigeons, sparrows, and starlings that may be roosting on your facility or passing through on a daily basis. Bird Netting if possible is the best method of control for large areas such as roof tops, ceilings, alcoves, etc. where birds nest, perch, and reproduce.

Bird Netting

Quality Catch and Release Program

We believe that there is a humane way to remove pigeons from your facility. We have built pigeon control coops that allow us to trap and then relocate the pigeons without having to euthanize them. Each coop is equipped with water and food. A drop cloth is placed under each coop to keep the roof area clean of pigeon droppings. Quality Catch and Release offers a solution where ledge spikes, avitrol, netting, and other bird control products do not work. Quality Catch and Release coops are checked every other week to ensure that the birds are handled in a humane way. Once brought back to our offices and Aviary Group will collect the birds from us.

Bird Catch and Release

Hot Foot

Hot foot is designed to deter birds from landing on ledges, piping, and areas where spikes and other bird repellant products may not work quite as well. As birds land they will get their feet or feathers temporarily stuck and will then deter them from coming back to perch in the same area.

Bird Hot Foot

Bird Shock Flex Track

The Bird Shock Flex Track is a low-profile ledge deterrent system that is effective against all species of pest birds utilizing the principle of fear and flight, conditioning birds to stay away. It's only 1/4-inch high and is available in five colors.

The Bird Shock Flex can be used on ledges, beams, signs, roofs, parapets, etc. One of the best features of the Bird Shock Flex is that it can be installed on all contoured ledges and can bend and turn to fit the design of the building or facility.

Bird Shock Flex Track

Avitrol

Avitrol is a good method of control in areas such as roof tops, ledges, and warehouses and is very cost effective control measure.

Avitrol

Daddi Long Legs

Daddi Long Leg’s unique design deters gulls, pigeons, and other large birds from rooftops, A.C. units, street lights, and other open areas.

Burrowing Rodents

  • Burrowing Rodents destroy property
  • Burrowing Rodents destroy crops
  • Burrowing Rodents destroy plants
  • Burrowing Rodents breed quickly
  • Burrowing Rodents create hazardous conditions
  • Rodents WILL cost you money

What can Quality Commercial Pest Control do for you?

A Burrowing Rodent Control program is essential to the success of your business. Because each and every property is different, Quality Commercial Pest Control will create a plan taylor made for your facility.

Gophers, Squirrels, Moles

Fumitoxin

Fumitoxin is a product with an active ingredient of aluminum phosphide which comes in the form of a capsule. Each capsule releases a gas with the moisture in the ground. Gophers, ground squirrels, and moles inhale the gas and the fumitoxin exterminates the gophers inside the run and makes that run inactive.

Gopher Tunnel

Strychnine

Strychnine is a gopher bait that is places using a gopher probe into the plug of the gopher run. The gophers then eat the bait placed and are exterminated inside the run. The biggest advantage to gophers, ground squirrels, and moles dying in the runs is that it makes the runs inactive, making gophers, ground squirrels, and moles have to dig new runs to get back to the property.

Rodenator

Rodenator

The rodenator is a special tool we use that is a non chemical method of eradicating gophers, ground squirrels, prairie dogs, etc. All runs are collapsed and burrowing pests are eliminated using the Rodenator. The rodenator is used in golf courses, agricultural settings, crop fields, homes, parks, etc. and is an effective way to rid your facility of any burrowing rodents.

Bed Bug Bites
Bed Bug Life Cycle

Chemical Treatment

There are several chemical methods to treat bed bugs. Your account manager after inspecting will create a plan showing you the different options and methods available for your facility.

Non-Chemical Treatment

Quality Commercial Pest Control can treat using heat and steam machines designed to kill immediately all active infestations of bed bugs.

What do bed bugs look like?

Bedbugs have small, flat, oval-shaped bodies. They are wingless and covered in small hairs that make their bodies appear to be striped.

Adults are brown in color, although their bodies redden after feeding. Full-grown bedbugs move slowly and measure between 1/8 and 3/16-inch, making them visible to humans.

Nymphs are approximately the size of the head of a pin and are white or gold until they feed. Their pale coloration acts to camouflage them against mattresses and light carpets. Nymphs are approximately the size of a single lentil or apple seed.

How can I detect bed bugs?

Detecting bedbugs can be difficult, as they are both nocturnal and small in size. However, evidence of a bedbug infestation may be found in bedding and on mattresses. People sometimes roll onto bedbugs while they sleep, resulting in bloodstains upon the sheets. Live bedbugs leave clusters of dark brown or black spots of dried excrement on infested surfaces. Bedbugs also exude a subtle, sweet, musty odor.

Bedbugs have flattened wingless, brown or reddish-brown bodies. They can be found in bed sheets, box springs, walls, clothing and luggage. They prefer tight crevices and dark locations where they can remain hidden and protected. Mattresses and other furniture may also host these parasitic insects. Bedbugs are easily transported into previously non-infested dwellings and studies have linked outbreaks to tourism.

If you have detected a bedbug infestation within your facility or home, contact us immediately for a FREE inspection and quote.

Bed Bug Bites

Although their bite can cause irritation and even infection, bedbugs do not carry or transmit diseases. Bedbug bites can become itchy and may leave red bumps and marks. Bedbug bites may appear similar to a number of other insect bites.

However, unlike those of other insects, bedbug bites appear in tight lines of multiple, small, red marks. Bedbugs are not social insects, so groups of bites are most likely the result of one specimen continuing to feed upon its victim. Some bites leave large wheals, although these marks are not typically an indication of a serious problem and will fade to small, red marks within a few days.

Bedbug bites can cause itchiness. Initially, a victim may detect a slight burning sensation. The burning area then develops red bumps, known as papules or wheals. In extreme cases, bites may swell dramatically or turn into blister-like skin inflammations. However, many bites leave no mark and go completely unnoticed.

Facts about Bed Bugs

Bedbugs are small, nocturnal, wingless insects that belong to the family of Cimicidae. They feed on human blood and other warm-blooded hosts. They are oval in shape and grow up to 4-5mm long when fully grown. Their skin color is rust brown to a deeper red brown. Bedbugs are also known as "mahogany flats", "red coats" and "chinches." The adult bedbug does not have any wings and has a flattened body.

Not only are they dorsoventrally flattened, but they are also thin which creates a great advantage for them. They can hide in unusual places such as behind baseboards, floor cracks, and under carpets or behind loose wallpaper, which makes them difficult to detect.

Not only are they difficult to detect, but bedbugs also tend to stay close together and have a distinctively sweet, yet unpleasant smell. Blood spotting on mattresses and nearby furnishings are also signs of a bedbug infestation.

Bedbugs have existed since the ancient times and are found in temperate climates throughout the world. There are different types of bedbugs, but the common bedbug with a scientific name of Cimex lectularius, is adaptable to human environments.

In tropical regions, including Florida, other visible kind of species called Cimex hemipterus, are also known to swarm among poultry and bats. Other places, such as West Africa and South America, are home to the Leptocimex boueti species that infests bats and humans. On the other hand, the species that are found among bats are called Cimex pilosellus and C. pipistrella, and are lurking all over in North America, primarily in poultry farms.

Since they can survive in birds' nests, they can be seen in houses and buildings that have several bird nests, particularly on rooftops. They are also known to feed on bats or household pets, but their typical source of nutrition is human blood.

Bedbugs have a great worldwide distribution due to human travelers who transport luggage, clothing, bedding, and furniture. Though they may reside in unusual places, they are also likely to be found in small cracks near a bed or in comforters and bed sheets.
